The team here is 2nd to none. Not only is the mountain at snow summit and bear beautiful and fully decked out with park. I have been coming here since 2007 and it's even better than I remember. This past weekend I lost my wedding ring on the mountain and told a staff member Tim D. And a few hours later he miraculously found my ring. The dedication clearly showed and I will be forever grateful. For skiing, the canyons on a fresh pow day is 2nd to none. Definitely highly reccomended.

Special mention for the instructors at Bear Mountain that supported my child with his snowboarding lesson last weekend. All of the interactions that I had were really positive but George and Wes helped me out tremendously going above and beyond. This is especially important because these outings are not cheap. I am really appreciative.

This marks our third year as a family visiting Big Bear Ski Resort, a tradition we cherish. Typically, we plan two trips annually. Ine local and one farther away, and this year was no exception. While snowfall was lighter and the temperatures were warmer than usual, Team Big Bear did an incredible job utilizing snow machines to ensure we had plenty of slopes to enjoy. We truly loved our trip this year. However, if you're chasing big, fluffy snow and a classic winter wonderland, you might want to explore other destinations. That said, if you're a fan of skiing and want a convenient, local getaway near Los Angeles, Big Bear Ski Resort is hard to beat. From the crisp mountain air to the friendly ski instructors and staff, it’s always time well spent.

As a wedding photographer who specializes in mountain destination weddings, I’m excited to spread the word about Big Bear Mountain Resorts opening their doors to weddings for the first time ever in 2025! They’re all set to become the next go-to destination for engaged couples planning a mountain resort wedding in Southern California. They plan to offer four different ceremony sites at Bear Mountain, each with its own unique setting and view, and my hope is that they'll create offerings at the base and top Snow Summit as well. I've photographed countless weddings in Mammoth, and I’ve seen and been a part of the seamless experience they provide. The resorts connection to Mammoth assures me that couples can soon expect the same level of professionalism and quality at Big Bear. I have no doubt Big Bear Mountain Resorts will quickly become a sought-after venue for Southern California mountain weddings, so don't sleep on this! You could be one of the first couples! If you're looking for a photographer, reach out and let's make this happen!

I Love learning how to slide down the mountain & in Joy being in nature! Not a gym person... don't like being stuck indoors and sometimes struggle with social anxiety... Being outdoors and feeling the expansive natural environment of nature herself feels so good! I started doing this for my mental and physical and emotional health. Good luck to everyone here on Earth-ship!

Pre paid parking only so be prepared! We struggled to find a spot, needed to put chains to park. Nice people playing out in the snow, made several friends. Fast and Friendly service to buy your lift tickets and pay for your equipment rentals if you do not bring your own, had to go back in line after purchasing my lift ticket, as I was not told. Snowboard can be adjusted a bit but you need to come back to the rental guys to do so. Margaritas are very good, $15. Brought my own picnic so, unable to rate the food. But everyone around was really friendly and happy. Definitely coming back up to continue enjoying snow sports and a happy atmosphere with well behaved humans and dogs
